General Information about the Show
2Show Dates: September 9 & 10, 2022 (No rain dates)
Location: Len-Lo Farm, Robinson Road, Mohawk (Leonard Gilbert Family) Show Times: 9:00 – 4:00 General Information:The show usually features about 100 exhibitors, offering products and services relevant to all aspects of the agricultural community, with attendance ranging between 8,000 – 10,000 people. The main show takes place over approximately 10 acres, with over 40 acres in use featuring field demonstrations and fun activities. Set-Up: Setting up is the responsibility of the exhibitor. Exhibitors can begin setting up by noon on Monday. All exhibitors must be set up by 8:30 am Fri morning. Outside exhibitors with large equipment can make special arrangements to set up over the weekend if desired. (Please note – If you are bringing in large equipment, it becomes much more difficult to do so closer to the start of the show, therefore we suggest this equipment be brought in by Wed or Thur.) The Farm Show strives to make this a positive experience for the participants; being as helpful as possible, but we do not have the resources to assist with loading/unloading. Thankfully, it’s a friendly bunch, and in the past other participants have generously extended the services of their equipment to help out, however this is at their discretion and we can’t offer any guarantees. Parking: There is limited parking of 50 spaces next to the main buildings. Exhibitors can reserve a space(s) by purchasing a VIP Pass for $10.00 each. (Passes will be issued on a first come first served basis.) All other exhibitors will be required to use parking lots. Tables & Chairs: A rental fee of $25 includes an 8’ table and 2 chairs. This must be paid for with the contract. YOU will be responsible for returning them in proper condition. Additional chairs are $5 each, tables $15 each. Late Fee: If your contract is not received by August 10rd there will be a $20 late charge. Contracts: Enclosed is a contract, schedule of activities, Country Folks show program form (free) and Farming Editorial form (free). · Return the contract, payment in full and insurance certificate to the CNY Farm Progress Show, Inc., no later than August 3, 2022. Make checks payable to: CNY Farm Progress Show, Inc. · Mail or fax the Country Folks show program form to Country Folks as indicated on form. · Mail or fax the Farming Editorial form to Farming as indicated on form. Special Requests: We can’t offer any guarantees, but we do our best, and have a good track record of accommodating your special requests. Please include a detailed note on your contract indicating your special needs and we will attempt to fill them. If there is a problem, question, or concern – we’ll be in touch! Security: As indicated on the contract, you alone are responsible for any thefts from your displays. There are security guards on the grounds at all times –Wednesday thru Thursday Directions: From NYS Thruway, Herkimer Exit (30) to Rt 28S (approx 4m) to Robinson Corners. Turn left at Robinson Cnrs. From Route 20, turn onto Route 28n, (approx 6 m), turn right at Robinson Corners. Lodging: Red Rood Inn – Utica, 200 Weaver St. (right off I-90 exit 31), Utica, NY, 13502. Activities: Antique Tractor Show, Bale toss contest, biggest pumpkin, tallest corn, most attractive display (outside & inside), presentation of Herkimer County Dairy of Distinction Award, and much more. Country-western band will be performing on Wednesday and Thursday. Water: The Farm Show will provide water for exhibitors. For water safety reasons, there will be no water, with the exception of sealed bottles, brought onto the premises. Country Folks Complimentary Listing: All applications received by August 19th will be listed on the show map in the Country Folks issues of Aug 31st and Sept 7th at no additional cost to you. Contracts received after August 24th will not be listed. |
